Since the inception of the Retiree Drug Subsidy (RDS) Program in December 2003, the RDS Secure Website has been the most important interface between the Plan Sponsor community and the RDS Program. In order to give Plan Sponsors the best possible user experience, CMS' RDS Center has begun an initiative to update and modernize the Secure Website. CMS' RDS Center will be reaching out to RDS Plan Sponsors so that we may better understand the needs and wants of our users. We want to hear from you, because who better to tell us what Plan Sponsors need than the Plan Sponsors themselves.
Over the coming weeks, CMS' RDS Center will conduct outreach to Secure Website users. The goal is to learn more about the users' experience when interacting with the Secure Website while performing RDS business activities, from the perspective of the Plan Sponsor community, and to identify potential improvements to the Secure Website. During telephone interviews with Secure Website users, the RDS Center team will invite participants to share details about their role in the RDS Program and usage of the Secure Website to accomplish tasks. The interview is to draw out stories and experiences with using the Secure Website, and inquire about experiences with the RDS program in general. Interviews will be open-ended and conversational.

Participation in the study is voluntary. Responses will be strictly confidential; participants will remain anonymous, and no data collected as part of the initiative will be directly attributable individually or to a Plan Sponsor organization. To participate:
- You must be a registered RDS Authorized Representative, Account Manager, Designee, or Actuary with an active RDS user account in good standing; and
- You must be assigned to at least one RDS Plan Sponsor account and/or application.
Participants will be randomly selected from email responses to this invitation. If selected, CMS' RDS Center will email additional information about the initiative, including the length of time for the interview, the objectives, and a consent form that must be signed and returned before the interview can be scheduled. Survey participants will not be compensated.
