Use the Designee Quick Start Guide to get started on tasks associated with your assigned RDS Secure Website privileges. To use this guide, refer to the "RDS Program Designee Invitation" email you received from CMS' RDS Center when you were assigned as a Designee. This email lists the privilege(s) you have been assigned for an application.

Submit Interim Costs - RDS User Guide If you are helping to submit interim costs, access this information for an overview of and step-by-step instructions for submitting interim costs.
Quick Access Reports (QAR) If you are a Plan Sponsor Designee Cost Reporter assisting with multiple RDS applications, you may wish to use Quick Access Reports (QAR) in the RDS Secure Website to review cost reporting information without having to locate information in each individual application. QAR assists and accelerates cost reporting activities by delivering consolidated cost reporting information. Refer to the Quick Access Reports (QAR) Guide for comprehensive information about these reports.

Reconciliation Resources

Keep This in Mind: As a Designee Cost Reporter in the Reconciliation process, you may review or report costs for your assigned Benefit
Option(s). Note that Designee Cost Reporters do not have access to the Reconciliation Checklist and Step 6: Manage Submission of Final Cost Reports. You must access cost reporting through the "Final Cost" action available on the Application List page.

Note: You must wait until Reconciliation Step 6 to report costs. The status of the application will be "Reconciliation Cost Reporting Opened."
